M.V. Kingfisher
A harbour launch, built by the world-famous Harland & Wolff Shipyard, Queens Island, Belfast in 1947. This vessel is the last known wooden boat built by the yard that is still afloat. She is perfect for a wooden boat enthusiast or a business looking for a unique eye catching marketing opportunity.
The boat is teak on oak frames and has been refurbished and maintained to MCA Cat 4 standard. Operating as a commercial trip boat (White River Charters) M.V. Kingfisher has been continuously and lovingly maintained, recently antifouled and new anodes fitted. Her hull, decks and wheelhouse have just been repainted, as well as her windows resealed and revarnished. The engine is a Perkins 4236, 80hp has been fully serviced.
